Popcaan recently announced that he will be launching his next album in Ghana.
He made the announcement on Twitter, but revealed no further details. The ‘Unruly Boss’ Popcaan surprised fans earlier this year when he announced his purchase of a $5.5 million home in Ghana.
He joined a fairly long list of celebrities who have put their money where their mouth is in that regard. In the past and in recent times, several artistes have courted the notion of the return of black people to the motherland of Africa.
This was after President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, in a visit to Jamaica in June of last year, invited Jamaicans to come to the West African country to celebrate the “Year of Return” and commemorate the occasion of 400 years since the first African slave was shipped from the country to the Americas
