Sad new has reach Ghana and the whole world as CEO of Off White and Louis Vuitton designer, Virgil Abloh has died of cancer at the age of 41 according to a statement from the company, he has been battling it for years.
Virgil Abloh who has Ghanaian roots as both of his parents are Ghanaians started working with the popular fashion brand, Louis Vuitton back in 2018.
The news of his death is a shock to the fashion industry and a blow to Ghanaians as well.
He was the first American of African descent to be made artistic director in a French luxury house when he first started work at Fendi as an intern and worked alongside American rapper Kanye West.
In Burna Boy’s new song ‘Want It All’ ft Polo G, he hyped Virgil Abloh when he sang a line in the song; ““I GOT EVERY LOUIS V COLLECTION FROM VIRGILLLLLL”
It has been revealed that he was battling cancer privately.
